It’s a new season, it’s a new day; to fulfill God’s purpose! This is what I tell myself every morning. It’s my mantra and reminder that I am living on purpose. What is that purpose exactly? Well, earlier this year I read Psalm 103:1-5 which states, ” Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”. It was a reminder for me to be more mindful regarding my gratitude unto God and to recall God’s goodness towards me. It was a reminder to give thanks when I wake up each morning to a new season and a new day. That is my purpose. God is great!
I love the part of this chapter that says how I’ve been crowned with loving-kindness and tender mercies. I’ll be crowning around until my dying day!
What is your daily mantra? What have you thanked God for lately?
